Welcome to my travel journal. Here I will discuss my study abroad experience during the spring semester of my Sophomore year at Bloomsburg University. My primary residence abroad was Colchester, England which is a smaller city that is about an hour train ride outside of London. In Colchester I attended University of Essex, a public research university in England. 

    My semester abroad was transformative for me. Though I had done some traveling before, I had never gone on a journey like this. I lived in a foreign country for almost six months, thousands of miles away from my loved ones. Although it was trying at times, I was able to experience so many new things and meet so many new people. 

    While across the pond I had many opportunities to travel to different countries and cities across Europe. The most notable of those destinations include: Granada Spain, Amsterdam Netherlands, Antwerp Belgium, Paris France, London England, Glasgow Scotland, Edinburgh Scotland, and Dublin Ireland. This travel journal will explore various aspects of my favorite destinations.
